50-100 TPH Basalt Crushing Plant in Tanzania

Tanzania 50-100 TPH Hard Basalt

1. Project Overview & Site Execution

Supporting infrastructure growth in Tanzania, this 50-100TPH crushing plant is engineered to process extremely hard Basalt into high-quality construction aggregates. The line features a classic, durable combination of the PE-600×900 Jaw Crusher and the advanced HST100 Single Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher. This configuration ensures reliable operation and excellent particle shape (0-20mm) while keeping operational costs low in challenging hard rock mining conditions.

Project Site Snapshot & Execution Summary

This photo captures the primary crushing stage installation, utilizing a modular steel structure design which dramatically reduced on-site installation time and complexity.

"The HST100 cone crusher handles the hard basalt effortlessly. We are getting excellent shape for our 10-20mm aggregates with very little downtime."

2. Detailed Process Flow & Design Rationale

Considering the high hardness of local basalt and the moderate capacity requirement, we deployed a streamlined two-stage crushing circuit:

  • Primary Crushing: The PE-600×900 Jaw Crusher is used as the primary station, capable of feeding basalt rocks up to 500mm and reducing them to 65-160mm.
  • Secondary Crushing: The material is conveyed to the HST100 Single Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher. Its high crushing force is ideal for hard rock, reducing the stone to <20mm.
  • Screening: An S5X-1845 Vibrating Screen separates the output. Oversize material (+20mm) is returned to the HST cone for re-crushing, ensuring a closed-circuit operation for consistent product size.

4. Project Highlights & Value Creation

Automated Control

The HST cone crusher features a fully automatic control system, simplifying operation and protecting the machine from overload.

Wear Resistance

Special alloy liners are used to withstand the high abrasiveness of Tanzanian basalt, extending service life.

Cost-Effective

The simple "Jaw + Cone" configuration reduces initial investment while maintaining high production efficiency for this capacity range.
