1. Project Overview & Site Execution
In response to the growing infrastructure needs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, this high-capacity 450TPH production line utilizes a robust combination of PE-900×1200 Jaw Crusher and HPT300 Multi-cylinder Cone Crusher to process extremely hard Basalt. The plant is engineered to deliver high-quality cubical aggregates and manufactured sand (0-31.5mm) through a highly efficient crushing and shaping circuit, ensuring reliable performance and reduced maintenance costs in the demanding African mining environment.

Project Site Snapshot & Execution Summary
This panorama shows the primary and secondary crushing stages of the 450TPH line, highlighting the heavy-duty HPT300 cone crusher modules and the reinforced steel support structures.
"The HPT300 cone crusher is incredibly robust for Congolese basalt. It maintained high throughput even in extreme conditions."
2. Detailed Process Flow & Design Rationale
To process the massive volume of hard basalt in DRC, we designed a high-efficiency multi-stage circuit:
- Primary Stage: The PE-900×1200 Jaw Crusher handles raw stones up to 750mm.
- Secondary Stage: Two HPT300 Cone Crushers work in parallel to ensure a stable 450TPH output of 10-31.5mm aggregates.
- Shaping Stage: The VSI5X-1145 Sand Maker performs final shaping to produce high-quality, cubical 0-5mm sand.
3. Key Equipment Configuration List
We selected market-leading, durable models to ensure stable 24/7 operation and low maintenance costs.
4. Project Highlights & Value Creation
450TPH High Throughput
Engineered for large-scale infrastructure projects requiring massive aggregate volumes.
Hard Rock Optimized
Specialized HPT series technology ensures low wear costs when processing abrasive basalt.
Superior Grading
The 4-deck S5X screening system provides precise separation of four distinct high-quality products.
