1. Project Overview & Site Execution
Located in the Philippines, this 50-100TPH crushing plant is tailored to process highly abrasive River Stone into valuable construction aggregates. Recognizing the extreme hardness of the raw material, the plant bypasses high-wear impactors in favor of a classic hard-rock configuration: the PE-600×900 Jaw Crusher for primary reduction and the HST100 Single Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher for secondary crushing. This highly efficient, closed-circuit system ensures the profitable and continuous production of precisely sized 1/2", 3/4", and 1" aggregates, delivering premium materials to the local concrete and infrastructure sectors while keeping maintenance costs remarkably low.

Project Site Snapshot & Execution Summary
Compact layout of the river stone crushing line in the Philippines, highlighting the primary jaw crusher station and the highly efficient secondary cone crusher module.
"River stone is notoriously hard on wear parts, but the cone crusher handles it efficiently. Our 3/4" and 1" aggregates are in extremely high demand by local concrete suppliers."
2. Detailed Process Flow & Design Rationale
Because river stone has a high silica content and causes excessive wear on equipment, we designed a classic, highly wear-resistant two-stage crushing circuit:
- Primary Crushing: The raw river stones are fed by a vibrating feeder into the PE-600×900 Jaw Crusher. This robust machine easily crushes the large, smooth pebbles down to a manageable size of around 65-160mm.
- Secondary Crushing: The material is conveyed to an HST100 Single Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher. Chosen specifically for hard rock, it uses lamination crushing to reduce the stones efficiently while keeping liner wear to a minimum.
- Screening & Sizing: An S5X-1845 Vibrating Screen is installed to classify the crushed stone. It accurately separates the output into the required commercial sizes: 1/2", 3/4", and 1" aggregates. Any material larger than 1 inch is returned to the cone crusher in a closed circuit.
3. Key Equipment Configuration List
We selected market-leading, durable models to ensure stable 24/7 operation and low maintenance costs.
4. Project Highlights & Value Creation
Minimal Wear Cost
The exclusive use of compressive crushing (Jaw + Cone) instead of impact crushers drastically reduces the consumption rate of wear parts when processing river stone.
Compact Layout
The 50-100 TPH configuration is highly space-efficient, fitting perfectly into the client's limited quarry site in the Philippines without sacrificing accessibility.
Precise Imperial Sizing
The screening system is perfectly calibrated to output exact 1/2", 3/4", and 1" fractions, meeting the standard specifications of the local construction market.
