2. Detailed Process Flow & Design Rationale
To produce premium aggregates for the Indonesian infrastructure market, we designed a high-efficiency two-stage crushing circuit:
- Primary Crushing: The raw limestone is fed into the PE-900×1200 Jaw Crusher, which handles boulders up to 750mm and reduces them to around 150mm.
- Secondary Crushing & Shaping: The material is conveyed to the PFW1318 European Impact Crusher. This machine is specifically chosen for limestone because it combines crushing with superior shaping, ensuring the output is cubical and strong.
- Screening: An S5X-2160 Vibrating Screen (3-deck) separates the material into specific fractions:0-5mm: High-quality manufactured sand.5-20mm: Standard concrete aggregate.20-50mm: Base course or large structural aggregate.
- Closed Circuit: Any material exceeding 50mm is automatically returned to the PFW crusher for further processing.
