2. Detailed Process Flow & Design Rationale
To optimize the downstream gold recovery process, we designed a two-stage crushing circuit focused on producing fine particles to reduce the workload of the ball mill:
- Primary Crushing: Raw gold ore is fed into the PE-900×1200 Jaw Crusher via a vibrating feeder, reducing large rocks up to 750mm down to a manageable size.
- Secondary Crushing: The material is conveyed to the HPT300 Multi-cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher. Its "lamination crushing" principle is highly effective for hard gold ore, producing a high percentage of fine aggregates.
- Screening: An S5X-2460 Vibrating Screen separates the output.
- >25mm: Returned to HPT300 for re-crushing (Closed Circuit).
- 0-10mm & 10-25mm: Conveyed to the stockpile as final feed for the grinding or leaching stage.
